Basildon

Basildon Tractor Plant is a centre of excellence for the design and manufacture of advanced agricultural machinery, playing a key role in shaping the future of modern farming. The site combines decades of engineering expertise with state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing processes to deliver tractors that set benchmarks for quality, performance, and reliability.

Tractor production at Basildon began in 1964, and since then the plant has made a significant contribution to global agriculture. Over the years, Basildon has been at the forefront of major engineering developments, including innovations in cab comfort, transmission technology, engine performance, and manufacturing processes.

The plant has produced some of the most recognised tractor models in the industry’s history, including the Ford 4000, 5000 and 7000, and today it is home to the production of the highly regarded T6 and T7 tractor ranges.

HOW TO REACH US

New Holland Tractor Plant:  Cranes Farm Rd, Basildon, SS14 3AD, United Kingdom.

The Basildon Tractor Plant is easily accessible by road and is conveniently located close to two mainline railway stations with direct connections to central London. Free car parking is available in the designated Visitor Car Park, located on the right‑hand side of the Main Gate Reception Building.
